Maintaining your tree's health will require general maintenance such as pruning by removing dead, dying, and diseased branches this will help increase your tree's health. Tree maintenance is an important practice for all tree owners for both safety and beauty of your property.

Overpruning your tree by stripping or thinning the branches is not recommended, it will stress the tree and drain its food and energy source. Reducing the crown of your tree by more than 1/3 will affect your tree's structure. Avoid ripping or tearing of the branches during the pruning process, improper cuts will hurt the tree and it can not heal properly. We practice the ANSI A300 proper tree pruning practices.

Dead trees should be removed from your property as soon as possible, dead trees can become a liability and is not aesthetically pleasing. The more a tree declines the structual integrity decreases, when a tree is rotted, climbing may become a hazard and the removal may require larger equipments such as a crane, this adds more to the cost of the removal process. Trees that are dead or dying may also fall down during heavy winds or storm, causing damage or injuries. Our practices and protocols for tree removals are OSHA and ANSI compliant.
