We perform a variety of tree and environmental services for many government agencies.  Each property and agency has their own unique needs and goals.  We strive to achieve these goals and often deliver additional value. 

Every government contract receives the RTEC Contract Logistics Support (CLS) service.  This is the daily management, reporting, tracking, and real-time budget and progress updates of the contract.  The CLS service is customized to the agency and the contract to deliver added value to the government. 

We work closely with the Contracting Officer and Technical Representative to provide excellent service. We provide tracking and a quality control systems to maintain the budget reports and progress of the project. For safety assurance our staff consists of Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSP) and all our work conforms to the ANSI A300 standards.

Our projects have consisted of Forestry Management, Tree Pruning and Removal, Insect & Disease Control, Tree Preservation, Tree Planting & Relocation, Landscape Maintenance, Consultation, Irrigation Services,  Land Clearing, Environmental Solutions, storm clean up, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and tick eradication. We have performed extensive work on secure facilities requiring security clearances.

We provide services within the United States and abroad by in-house crews and teaming with companies  that provide the same quality, service, and care. RTEC is a GSA contractor (GS -21F-0038U)

RTEC was recognized with the Small Business of the Year Achievement Award for 2008 & 2010 by the Department of Homeland Securities. We were recognized for excellent service to a government agency, who also received an award and recognition for the environmental services that was performed on their site.

Contract Management

We have a team of experienced personnel to manage all government contracts and contracting. We provide daily, weekly, monthly, item and service tracking as per the contracts. Each contract's budget is tracked digitally and with great attention to detail. We work closely with the COTR to ensure that the progress is on task and on schedule. 

High Visibility & Traffic Areas

Our crews are trained to properly set up and control pedestrial and vehicle traffic for areas that are high visibility and have visitors. Our worksites are controlled to ensure the safety of all passerbys.

Parks, Forest, Woodlands

We provide services in areas where there are several acres of trees that need maintenance. Sensitive areas require knowledge, expertise, and care to ensure that the natural environment is not disrupted, we take great care to ensure that the property is left better. 

Secured Facilities

Secured facilites require that our personnel pass security clearance, RTEC hires only employees that have proper documentation, is experienced and we have a workplace drug policy and Company Safety Standards that is practiced and enforced.

Transplanting

Transplantation of large mature trees require large trucks and equipment to safely move the tree. After care is required to help with it's survival in its new location.

RTEC provides solutions for tree planting and transplanting needs.

Environmental Clean Up & Solutions

Some sites are environmentally sensitive (near waterways, drainage, and wetlands), our crews are trained to work in those areas using environmentally friendly methods, and trained to not disturb the natural environment.We have performed environmental clean up, these projects are in sensitive areas and required soil restoration and underground materials . We have trained HAZWOPER personnel for these sensitive projects.
